At Southern Karate Organisation we pride ourselves that our team of instructors have all been students with us from white to black belt and are fully trained Black belt instructors. We do not employ people through an application process.  Southern Karate Organisation Instructors only become Instructors through their own development, dedication, training and commitment.  They must complete a full karate teaching apprenticeship with our senior Southern Karate Organisation Instructors and assessed by our Chief Instructor.  Our team of 12 have a combined total of 222 years karate experience!

We have over 2000 members and teach in 80+ venues every week giving choice and flexibility to our students.  We offer children only classes as well as family classes – an opportunity for families to be able to train together and enjoy the benefits Southern Karate Organisation has to offer.

All Instructors hold Level 3 Martial Arts First Aid certificates, are DBS Police Checked and hold Enhanced Disclosures, follow a F.E.K.O. endorsed Child Safeguarding and Protection Policy, follow the Southern Karate Organisation Instructor Code of Conduct, Health & Safety Policy, Privacy Policy and are GDPR compliant.

Southern Karate Organisation Instructors are fully insured with £10,000,000 Public Liability Insurance, £10,000,000 Instructor Indemnity Insurance and F.E.K.O. Member insurance.

We take child safeguarding very seriously and our Instructors work to very high standards governed by our Child Safeguarding and Protection Policy endorsed by our Governing Body F.E.K.O. International and we have our own Designated Safeguarding Officer within Southern Karate Organisation.
